Embroidery/Sewing for small startup, what is the BEST machine out there or brand? ?
Is Baby Lock as Good as Viking? It seems to have same warranty, and has more features for less ! What is up with that, the viking designer 1 we have, is slow on the touch screen, a lot of delay there.. .also has alot of ‘jamming’ issues, or sometimes doesn’t baste. Also the 4d software i think is terrible. Anyonw have any suggestion as to what would be better or a comparison in other reliabe brands, as we have the Designer 1 USB , VIKING. We want to return it if there is something more reliable with same or better features, please help asap we only have a few days left !
You don’t want home sewing and embroidery machines for a small business, most likely.
1) they’re not designed to take the hour after hour use of a business.
2) using a home machine for business purposes voids the warranty.
3) they’re usually not as precise as a machine designed for commercial use.
4) they’re no where near as fast as a machine designed for commercial use.
Talk to your dealers about commercial machines… some dealers also handle commercial and industrial, others don’t.
